About this collection
Explore together
The child sees Toytoy feeling sad when his bridge collapses. When he struggles, he learns to ask for help by saying, “Could you take a look?” He discovers how to explain the problem, tries to find a solution by himself, and practices trying again.
The child can draw their own bridge or color page 8 (the sled on the opposite shore). They can color the thin and thick blocks in different colors and explain which ones didn’t wobble. For the hidden object search, find the blue blanket, two pillows, and Bıdık in page 1; the sled and the fish in page 3; and the two thick blocks in page 7.
Talk together
1) How did Toytoy feel when his bridge collapsed, and who did he call? 2) When you can’t do something, who do you ask for help and what do you say? Together: Spread a towel on the floor as a river and use two pillows as the riverbanks. Build a bridge with blocks, books, or boxes—first with thin supports, then with thick ones—and drive a toy car over it. If the bridge collapses, let your child explain what happened and find out why together.
