Story Globally is made for children. Here we explain in plain words what we keep, what we never take and how we protect your child.
What we never take from your child
- Their real name — a nickname is enough
- An e-mail address
- Date of birth — only an age group
- Photos or videos
- Voice recordings
- Location
A child profile is only a nickname, an avatar and an age group. Your child’s voice is never recorded anywhere.
In the Kids Studio
No tracking code
Analytics and advertising code such as Google Analytics never runs on the children’s screens.
No purchase screens
On a locked story the child sees “Ask a grown-up”; payment happens only on the parent pages.
No points, streaks or races
Activities have no points, no timers to beat and no “wrong” sound.
Parents hold the doors
Leaving, settings and outside links are behind the parent PIN; videos show only if you turn them on.
You are in control
The parent PIN, session length, videos and downloads are in your hands. Even while your child has the tablet, you can change these on My account from your phone or tap “Take a break now”. Only you see what your child read and did under “What did they do?”.
What we keep, and why
- Parent account: e-mail, family name, password (stored hashed)
- So you can sign in, for your membership and for the notices you need.
- Child profile: nickname, avatar, age group
- To show stories that suit the age first.
- Progress and “What did they do?” records
- To continue where they left off and show you what they did. Only you see them.
- Coloring and drawings in the album
- So your child can come back to their work. Never shared without your permission.
- Payment record
- To know how long your membership runs. Your card details never reach us; payment happens on iyzico’s secure page, and the ID number required in Turkey goes only to iyzico and is not stored by us.
Where do we use AI?
Book pictures, some texts and the narration are prepared by our team with the help of AI and checked by a person before they are published. Nothing your child writes, draws or says is sent to an AI.
Families and children do not create pictures with AI on the site; our team prepares the coloring pages. The services we use: OpenAI (pictures and text), Anthropic (text) and ElevenLabs (narration).
Cookies and measurement
Measurement and advertising cookies run only on the parent pages and only if you allow them; you can change your choice any time. Without your consent Google receives only cookieless, anonymous measurement signals, and Meta measurement does not run at all.
E-mails
We only send notices about your account and membership: confirmation, password, payment and the end of your membership. The newsletter comes only if you allow it, and you can withdraw that any time.
Your rights
From the family hub you can download all your records and ask for your account to be deleted. Go to the family hub →
